Welcome to the Grey Street Images Blog. I prefer to use this as an area to showcase my workflow and thoughts as well as a few random photos here and there. I will post current projects that I am working on and samples from shoots here regularly. I hope that everyone enjoys it.
Fourth of July in the Door
Fun at grammas house in Fish Creek for the 4th. Good food and Max liked smelling the flowers. More to come when we get back to Mad Town 😊.
A nice evening for a photo shoot, mosquitos & a thunderstorm
I was so excited to photograph this great family. We had rain throughout the day with a weather predication of no rain at all so we were a little nervous about the weather holding out. When we arrived there was perfect lighting and a ton of mosquitos... welcome to July in Wisconsin. The weather cooperated until the very end so our session was cut a little bit short and we only got a little bit wet. I got some great shot of these two cuties. Here is a preview... Thanks Brian and Erin :)

Pickin' Strawberries
Tonight we went out to a local strawberry patch to pick our own strawberries. This sounds like a great idea... at first. Then you realize that you are the proud owner of a 15 month old little boy. We went into it with our fingers crossed. All in all, the picking went well after a trip home to get Max's shoes... and bug spray... and pants. We ended up with some tasty strawberries and red stained fingers (and clothes) and a few great photos to boot! Please support your local small farms and growers :)
Congrats Nathan! Class of 2014

A beautiful evening for outdoor cooking
I decided to cook some Kakobs on the grill last night. Organic chicken breast, red and green peppers, zucchini, red onion & mushrooms. I seasoned them with EVOO, salt, pepper, a dash of lowreys, paprika, and berebere. Yummy
Back to GM
I went back to the Janesville assembly plant this morning. It was overcast with just a touch of green starting to sprout. There were a few areas that I still wanted to photograph. There is something about abandoned buildings that is so captivating, I just want to explore. So here are a few, even after security told me to back up a bit...
