On a trip to Door County over Memorial Day weekend I decided to head out to find some dark skies. The weather was perfect with the moon setting at 130am and clear skies forecasted. I woke at 145am and set out to Anderson dock in Ephraim for a few time exposures. That location has a great view of the Southern sky. I set up my tripod and a red lantern to preserve my night vision and started shooting. Here are a few results....

During my recent trip up to the Door I was lucky enough to have a clear night to practice my astrophotography. These were between 0315 and 0400 on April 28th, 2015. This first one is my favorite.
